June 2004: Crane Tech Wraps Up Shell Project

Crane Tech completes a major project for Shell Exploration and Production Company, New Orleans. Offshore practical examiners providing qualification testing for 176 offshore platform crane operators. Crane and rigging training was completed on shore in December, while Crane Tech employees worked offshore conducting qualification work. Crane Tech developed a special test method for crane operators on the platform URSA, worlds largest TLP and created a specialized database to report all elements of the qualification testing.
